About Us

Tracy is a board certified dermatologist who is fellowship-trained in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery, cutaneous oncology, and laser and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Campbell’s studied at the University of California, Davis to complete her Mohs training with experts in cutaneous oncology and facial reconstruction. Dr. Campbell is an expertly trained clinician in skin cancer, reconstruction, and other related subjects. Dr. Campbell had lectured regionally and nationally on various dermatology topics. She has written several academic manuscripts in cosmetic dermatology, surgical dermatology, and medical dermatology journals, instructing other dermatologists on a wide variety of procedures and techniques.

Dr. Campbell has also written and lectured extensively on a variety of general and dermatology topics. Amongst others, her work has been published in Dermatologic Surgery and The Archives of Dermatology. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Chicago Dermatologic Society, and the Women's Dermatologic Society, and she is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Kathi is a board certified Physician Assistant practicing Dermatology. She has been working as a physician assistant since 2007. Kathi has a special interest in treating acne as well as providing patient education and specialized care. She also enjoys the surgical treatment of skin conditions and the many other facets of dermatological care.

Kathi grew up locally in Arlington Heights and attended Buffalo Grove High School, graduating with highest honors. She lives in the Northwest Suburbs with her husband Ryan, daughter Elliot, and two cats, Reese and T.J. Her personal interests include traveling and photography.

Karen Smith is a board certified Physician Assistant practicing Dermatology. She has been working as a physician assistant since 2007.

Karen is passionate about dermatology, and she has a special interest in skin cancer and early detection through routine screenings. She also enjoys treating acne and eczema.

Karen grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota and attended Century High School, graduating as valedictorian. She now lives in downtown Chicago with her husband Travis. She enjoys golf, reading, and travel.

Michelle is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner practicing Dermatology. She has been working as a nurse practitioner since 2000. In addition, Michelle spent six years as a flight nurse at University of Chicago. Michelle holds dual board certifications in Family Practice and Acute Care.

Michelle enjoys teaching patients about skin care and how it relates to their general health and well-being. She has a special interest in pediatric and adolescent dermatology.

Michelle grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was a competitive figure skater and nationally-ranked oboe player. She lives in the Northwest suburbs with her husband, two young sons and dogs. Her interests include whitewater kayaking, dog agility and skiing.

Kristen is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner practicing Dermatology. She has been working as a Nurse Practitioner since 2007.

Kristen enjoys working to improve the health and well-being of patients of all ages. Her special interests include treating acne and caring for adolescent patients. She also enjoys educating patients regarding the prevention of skin cancer.

Kristen is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania and recently moved to Chicago from the Washington, DC area. She enjoys travel, basketball, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends.
